Moreover, the accounts of instances of Ecstatic Sublimation (ES) are all second-hand. There is no prime facie evidence that any of the individuals concerned sublimed, either vol- or involuntarily. That is not to doubt that these people have disappeared, a fact that is easily verified and uncontested by all investigative agencies. The loss to society, their family and friends, is not to be ignored or diminished, but the fact remains that no agency or individual has produced any direct evidence of the method of their disappearance, only that they are absent.
This will be disappointing news in the current climate, we are aware of this and can only extend our sympathies. Our only aim here is to establish the actuality of what occurred on September 7th, 8th, 14th, and 19th last year. Once we have done so, we can then establish a proper continuation protocol and, of course, attempt recovery of the missing.
Doubts have been cast on the accounts released by the certain authorities, including China, Russia and information obtained from North Korea, that the large number of progressives that are listed among the missing in those countries are doubtful, given the historical treatment of such in the past. Several disappearances have been recorded for which is it has been suggested more mundane explanations are applicable. The possibility that some are the victims of others who have taken opportunistic advantage of the mystery and hysteria surrounding this Event cannot yet be discounted. It is not for this investigation to comment on those cases specifically, as we are tasked with investigation of the wider Event itself. Local authorities are encouraged to undertake any relevant investigations, as this will help establish the true extent of the Event.
